The Schmitt Brothers

THE HEART-WARMING TRUE STORY BY P.T. RIVERS

In 1951, four small town boys from Wisconsin electrified audiences with their sublime harmonies, winning an international contest on the first try and skyrocketing to the big time.
For 35 years, they traveled more than 2 million miles to perform in 3,000 programs
including the Ed Sullivan, Arthur Godfrey and Lawrence Welk shows as well as
Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden and the top stages in the country.

The Schmitt Brothers tells the behind-the-scenes story
of the legendary champion quartet. Funny and interesting, sad and sweet,
the book captures the excitement of the times and the quartet’s small town persona.
